Joanne is a Registered Psychotherapist with a master's degree in Counselling Psychology from The University of British Columbia. She is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Joanne, a queer Bermudian-Canadian, has been working with teens, parents, teachers and administrators for over twenty years. In her private practice, Joanne especially enjoys helping couples to build stronger relationships and supporting families as they navigate inevitable growing pains.

โ€œJoanne is wise.  She is exceptional in her capacity to build relationships with a wide array of people. Her humour and warmth are authentic, and her manner easily helps others to feel comfortable. She intelligently, and gently, can move conversations directly to places that are difficult. She not only remains steady throughout challenging times, but she is highly effective and empathetic in crisis. She is consistent, and her ethics are firm foundations for each of her actions.โ€
